AntiSpam Agent - Blocked Sites

IMPORTANT: You must restart the antispam executable to effect any changes in the AntiSpam Agent's configuration. For information on loading and unloading the NetMail® Agents, see the Novell® NetMail Administration Guide at http://www.novell.com/documentation.

 

Configuration

Send Back

Returns blocked messages to their senders with the message, "Mail from <user or domain> is blocked from this site."

 

CC Postmaster

Copies the postmaster on blocked messages that are returned to their senders. This option works in conjunction with Send Back.

 

Blocked Sites

A blackout list of domains and e-mail addresses. Messages from these domains and e-mail addresses are removed from the designated message queues.

NOTE: If you specify a domain name (e.g., company.com), all e-mail addresses ending with that domain are blocked. If you provide a specific e-mail address (e.g. Joe@company.com), only that exact address is blocked.

 

SpamAassassin

Host

Specify the IP address/DNS name of the host running SpamAssassin, if no Host is specified, the default Host of: localhost is used.

 

Port

Specify the port that SpamAssassin is listening on, if no Port is speci fied, the default Port of: 7983 is used.

 

Drop Threshold

When the SpamAssassin score exceeds the value of Drop Threshold, the me ssage will be deleted. The default Drop Threshold value is: 9999, a suggested v alue would be: 10 or greater.

 

Header Threshold

When the SpamAssassin score exceeds the value of Header Threshold, the message will be modified to include the SpamAssassin headers. The default Heade r Threshold is: -9999, a suggested value would be: 5 or greater.
