This manual presents Qt Scripter, an IDE for creating, editing, running and debugging Qt Script dialogs and code. The IDE features a complete code editor which includes syntax highlighting and completion. In addition, Qt Scripter provides a class browser and a signal viewer. Qt Scripter also provides functionality for the user interface designer to create dialogs with layout tools. Qt Scripter allows users to interactively connect C++ signals to C++ slots and Qt Script functions.
Those familiar with Qt Designer will immediately feel at home because Qt Scripter takes the same approach to dialog design and provides much of the same functionality.
Qt Scripter
This manual introduces you to Qt Scripter in the first chapter, by leading you through the development of a short and simple script. The remaining chapters provide reference material that explain Qt Scripter's menu options, toolbars, key bindings, windows and dialogs in detail.
