Getting source code
There are two ways to get the source code:
- From an official release
-
Download a .tar.gz file and uncompress it. On Windows you may use 7-Zip for decompression.
- From the Git repository
-
This way you’ll get the latest code with all its consequences (such as out-of-date documentation). Use a Git client. For a command-line Git client, type:
git clone git://git.code.sf.net/p/cito/code cito-code
Compilation
Once you have the source code you have the following options of compiling it:
- Using MSBuild
-
MSBuild is part of the .NET Framework. In the directory with the sources run msbuild CiTo.csproj.
- Using Mono i xbuild
-
You need a C# compiler (gmcs) and the Mono counterpart of MSBuild (xbuild). In the directory with the sources run xbuild CiTo.csproj.
- Using GNU Make
-
You need a C# compiler (csc lub gmcs). In the directory with the sources run make.
- Using Visual Studio
-
Open CiTo.csproj. Build.
Installing (Linux)
To install, run:
sudo make install
This will create Mono wrappers cito and cipad in the default directory /usr/local/bin.
