Xprint - the X11 print system
"Xprint" is an advanced printing system which enables X11 applications to
use devices like printers, FAX or create documents in formats like
PostScript, PDF, PCL, etc.
This page is a collection of useful patches and information for anyone interested in running or developing Xprint.

16 October 2002: 1st stage of TrueType font support added to Xprint
First stage of TrueType font support for Xprt has been added
to the 008 development (e.g. release 007 will not contain this feature)
trunk with bug 1439.
This step added a generic TrueType rasterizer, providing TTF support for all
DDX(=drivers; incl. PostScript, PCL, Raster, etc.) in one step.

007 release package
Debian has released it's
Xprint package
(*.deb ) based on the 007 release branch.

The release 007 branch
has been created
(e.g. 007 has not been released yet, but we are
close...).
Note that the release branch will take only bug fixes and no new features.
